Attention NPOA Members
The Northstar Community Services District(NCSD) has released a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed Martis Valley Trail. The Draft EIR can be found on the NCSD website (www.northstarcsd.org) or copies are available at the NCSD office or the Truckee, Kings Beach, and Tahoe City libraries. The review period is until June 11, 2012 and comments regarding the Draft EIR must be submitted to Mike Staudenmayer, General Manager of NCSD by email at mikes@northstarcsd.org and Cc: npoa@npoa.info or by mail: NCSD at 908 Northstar Drive, Northstar, CA 96161 by 5 p.m. on June 11, 2012. A public meeting on the Draft EIR will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. in the Truckee Town Council Chambers, located at 10183 Truckee Airport Road.
The NPOA recreation center's main pool, kiddie pool, and splash pad will be open Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday 5/26/12 to Monday 5/28/12) and the weekend of 6/2/12 and 6/3/12, and will be open daily starting 6/9/12 through Labor Day. The recreation center summer hours from 7a.m. to 9p.m will start on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
